Yay! It’s coming!

This week I got an email from my editor with the first look at my book cover. I can’t post it yet because it isn’t final, but I think it looks great. Of course, you have to realize this is coming from someone with zero artistic ability. Still, I’m excited. May 15th isn’t that far away now.

Since I’m in a crazy mood, I’m posting one of my crazier poems that was published. It’s titled “The Boss” and I’m a little surprised that it was published, since it is has that sing-song rhyme thing going, but I’ll take it. 🙂

Lorraine Jeffery earned her bachelor’s degree in English and her MLIS in library science, and managed public libraries in Texas, Ohio and Utah for over twenty years. She has won poetry prizes in state and national contests and has published over thirty poems in various publications, including Clockhouse, Kindred, Calliope, Ibbetson Street,and Rockhurst Review.
