Spring is beautiful in Utah, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and. . .


Yes, spring is beautiful in every state, but having lived in several, I think spring is particularly breathtaking in the northern states where it has looked “pretty bad” for a while. Utah and Ohio can look bleak in the winter, and spring changes everything. If you click on the “Flowers” link above, you will see a picture of our daffodils, hyacinths, and crocus in our “mailbox garden.”

I did add a short poem titled, “Bourbon Street,” to my list of published poems. It was one of my first.

Lorraine Jeffery earned her bachelor’s degree in English and her MLIS in library science, and managed public libraries in Texas, Ohio and Utah for over twenty years.
